Figure Skating

Learn To Skate USA

Learn To Skate classes will begin Wednesdays May 26th 2021 and July 2021.

Where it all begins!!!

So you want to learn how to skate? You have come to the right place! Tacoma Skating School starts all disciplines of skating in a fun, goal-oriented beginner class. Once you learn the basics you can then join the programs especially designed for figure skating, hockey or speed skating.

You or your skater won’t just skate. They become rockets on ice. They become modern gladiators battling to find the back of the net, be the first to cross the finish line, or launch themselves high into the air. Olympic national governing bodies U.S. Figure Skating, USA Hockey and US Speedskating support Learn to Skate USA for the many health, social and developmental benefits gained through ice skating. What will skating do for you? Let’s find out together!

New classes start Saturdays in July.  $99 for the class and $18 to rent skates for the session, if needed.  Learn to Skate USA Membership is required before getting on the ice.  Click here to become a member.  Saturday class schedule will be as follows:

Basic Skills Classes – TBA

Intro to Skating Classes – TBA

Practice (enrolled and current classes skaters only) – TBA  (parents or family members that would like to skate during practice time with skaters, would need to have a Tacoma Learn to Skate Membership.  this can be purchase here and sign in or create an account, select “buy a registration”, click “learn to skate”, then select package)
